Education is Human Help Network Rwanda’s first goal for Rwanda’s children. To learn properly, they need good school buildings. So, Human Help Network Rwanda chooses at least one school per year (in 2008, there have been two) that has to be constructed, rehabilitated, or extended – and equipped. The request mostly comes from the headmasters themselves, or from local authorities. Human Help Network Rwanda evaluates the state of the school and provides the funds required for building. To facilitate the proceeding, Human Help Network Rwanda profits from the technical competence in terms of construction of the Jumélage (Partnership Rhineland-Palatinate/ Rwanda office). All school construction projects are carried out in partnership with them.
